Dr. Nadia Wahid earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 2017. Prior to receiving a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, she graduated from Miami University in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and began her clinical career as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Since then, her practice has maintained a focus on orthopedics and pelvic health for all genders, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy, visceral manipulation and functional exercise. In 2017, Nadia began furthering her education with Herman and Wallace, the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, the Barral Institute and was trained in functional dry needling. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and various professional sections.
Throughout her career she has noticed that apart from facilitating physical healing, educating patients on how to advocate for themselves and create a comprehensive team of health care professionals around them is essential. She is a thoughtful listener, passionate about education, and believes that maintaining a holistic approach to treatment can help patients become an active player in their own care.
