Lynn specializes in Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) to treat patients of all ages. She trains rigorously with the Jones Institute Counterstrain and the Counterstrain Academy for mastery level instruction to bring this gentle but incredibly powerful passive manual technique to Physical Therapy Your Way. FCS effectively treats all diagnoses and associated symptoms including pelvic health and dysfunction, IBS, incontinence, dizziness and tinnitus, chronic lymphedema, chronic system-wide pain, dysautonomia and connective tissue disorders, GERD symptoms, joint pain, Bell’s palsy, and much more. Lynn utilizes a combination of FCS and individually designed corrective/home exercises and symptom management strategies so patients can trust and depend on the effectiveness of their home program rather than rely on PT or another practitioner’s intervention. Lynn feels that when patients come into the clinic for PT they are sharing their most valuable resource, their time. She is grateful that FCS quickly targets the source of pain and symptoms, precisely mechanically unloads tense fascia, and clears the path for function and long term lasting benefits.
Lynn received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 1992.
